.....a typical week......

So after Sunday comes to a close I get ready for Monday. Mondays consist of the only day a week that I am working and a bible study with some girls in the evening. I am scheduled to work from 10-2pm but for the first few weeks it was a little bit longer due to helping Truck On Call get caught up on past invoices and accounts receivables. And that's what I do. I help this small business with some light bookkeeping. I hope to provide this type of service to other small businesses in the community. I end this day by gathering with a small group of girls at one of the local grocery stores that have a nice sitting area....and a nice deli selection also. And lately my evenings end with a gathering at Tim and Amy's house to watch The Bachelor as a 'family'.

Then Tuesday comes rolling around......this day could consist of numerous things. Getting some bills paid or running other errands. Tuesday evenings are our leadership meetings. The ladies take turns cooking dinner for the 7 adults and 4 kids. I actually forgot to cook something for the kids the time I cooked but of course the parents had it covered. We discuss the business of the church and what announcements may be coming up. We recently had a discussion on where we see The Commons going in the future. It was pretty awesome. We share of any experiences that we may have had the week before and end with a prayer time. It's truly a great time!

Wednesday starts about the same way as a Tuesday but this is the night of our Gathering. We have bible study for the whole church at the Corbins house every Wednesday night. We have dinner that starts at 6pm and the bible study starts about 6:45. The preschoolish kids go upstairs to the playroom and the youth go to the master bedroom for a lesson from Jason Cole. Cham takes the students to the McKee house. They are kind enough to open up their home for the students to be fed. The adults meet in the living room. We end about 8pm and then everyone kind of says their good-byes. Another tradition that has started is the 'family' stays up to watch LOST. This is another precious time of fellowship.

Thursday is a little bit of a recovery time from Wednesday night. I am trying to start back a routine of running but it's been sporadic to say the least. It's been a little slow go but it's at least happening. I am attending the Beth Moore Daniel bible study with a few women from the Commons on Thursday nights at Becky's house at 8pm. Honestly, I am usually catching up on the homework for this bible study. :-)

Fridays start off completely different. Friday mornings Amy is leading a parenting study for women so Vanessa and I have volunteered to watch the kids during this time. This is for about a couple of hours. Then it's Friday afternoon. Sometimes the guys and I will go on an adventure and that pretty much just includes trips to Target or the post office to check for mail. I love getting 'happies' in the mail. :-)

Fridays and Saturdays are open to meet up with folks from the community. It could look like dinner or just hanging out. Last weekend the guys and I hung with one family for the whole day....it was grand! The community here, I know I can't say enough, is just wonderful. The people that have come into my life are just beautiful.

.......and then Sundays......but I have already talked about that......

If you guys have any questions just comment or send me an email......or call......

Take care! Love~~
